This is perhaps the best kit I have done so far, it far exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of little parts that can be manipulated, like drawers that open or secret doors in bookcases, and the whole thing just looks beautiful. Very snug fits, which is great for longevity, but I did have to really try with some of the pieces to get them to fit together. Be aware of what you have spares of and what you don’t when you have to give something a firmer push. Very satisfying to complete. Would recommend to any friend.

The 3rd I've done of these and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality. I love the fiddly bits, as the concentration needed helps quiet my mind, and I feel productive in ways that meditation hasn't allowed me. To have this fun product at the end is a real treat and they look great nestled on the book shelves with my books. This is a great gift alternative for the puzzle lovers in your life. Got one for myself and one for my sis in another state, we did them together over the phone, such fun!

Update: changed from 1 star to 3 based on great customer service. The walls on mine ended up being defective. Will continue to purchase from this brand in the future.This is honestly worst book nook I’ve ever purchased. I’ve bought from this seller before and had no issues with their other book nook except for this one. The wall pieces do not snap well in place together. You have to glue them in or it keeps falling apart. The smaller pieces need glued in too or they won’t sit on the other decorations very well. It’s a pretty book nook but it’s very hard to put together despite looking like it was going to be easier than the ones we did previously. There were many times that my daughter and I wanted to throw it away because of the bad quality.

I loved the idea of having a bookstore as a book nook. It so cute. The direction were easy to follow. Just need to pay attention to connecting the battery and the light. Turned out better than I thought.. It is very hands on, though.. The cutting and pasting is very time consuming, but worth it.I am retired so it gives me a nice time in creating it. I changed something's, like the location of the books on the shelf, but still came out cute.. I used SuperGlue instead of craft glue, it binds the books and knickknacks so much better.

This would be a 5 rating except when I finished building it, sensor wire too short. It is only 8 inches and should be 16-17 inches for proper installation. I read other reviews where others had the same problem. Someone said they used fairy lights. I may be able to put the roof on backwards a glue battery holder to back of nook. The instructions tell you to check lights before you start to see if they work. I did that and they worked. What I learned from this, is on the next nook, I will check lights to see if they work and make sure all light wires are long enough.I had this review at 1. Amazon interceded and sent me an email to help solve the problemI received email from Amazon and apparently Amazon worked with them to send me new wiring. The wiring arrived today and it works perfect with longer touch wire.Amazon really came through for me. I suggest you contact them for help.

Purchased as a gift. Receiver said it was really cool to put together and eye catching once it’s on the shelf. Does need a tender hand to put it together, but the detail is amazing.

Very pretty book nook- but requires a lot of glueing! I normally like the Cutebee nooks, but this one was a little different, as it was more glueing then I expected, and it’s the first Cutebee nook that I’ve done that doesn’t have a dust cover (which I didn’t research before I bought the product-so, that’s my doing). The top is open concept, and you physically have to open the battery box to turn on and off this nook, so that’s a little inconvenient for me. I’ve gotten accustomed to the Cutebee nooks with touch sensors on the outside. So, this makes me think this is an earlier product from this manufacturer. It’s still pretty and fun, and I love the Sakura theme. Probably not my most favorite Cutebee nook, but still fun to put together and perfect addition to my other nooks!

The kit arrived yesterday and is on display today. It was easy to assemble because I have prior experience making book nook kits. It's functional for a Christmas decoration and the perfect size to sit on a china cabinet. There were no missing pieces and glue is not included. It's a great value for a beautiful Christmas decoration.
