You might grind the edge to reduce the outside dimension to be able to hammer item onto the hub or require a little sanding of either the part of the hub to get everything seated properly. It's better to use a piece of wood to assist installation

These fit my trailer just fine. If you lightly grease the mating surface and use a wood block to cushion the hammer blows for installation you will have no problem. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy……….

Make sure you measure the hub before you buy any of these to make sure they fit, that being said these are a very very tight fit,I took a fine file and took the edge off the inner edge of the cup, nothing much just the help get them started, then a 2x4 and small hammer and they worked, I was not surprised at what I did to make sure they fit

Trailer I use on my job boat had dust caps from the 70’s on it these fit perfect once lined up I with a little grease and a block and hammer banged them in

These fit tight like they're supposed to and the tension when you pump the bearings full of grease is just right, doesn't force the grease out the other side. Necessary for any boat trailer you put in the water a lot.

Works great but didn't fit the intended trailer. Just slightly too large for the hub. Had to order Buddy Bearing brand for one and used these on another.
