restored old model 25 from the early 1900's so it now shots again. old leather seals were disintegrated.

I purchased a kit to fix up my grandpa's 75+ year old Red Ryder so we could shoot it together again before dementia sets in too far. Remarkably, the original seals were still intact and it still shot true.The first kit arrived with the larger seal hole visually offset by quite a bit, I measured a total of a 1mm variance. The second kit arrived with the smaller seal offset visually, measured by the same margin but not as obvious due to hole diameter.The thicknesses seemed accurate, so I combined the best of both kits and will return the others. I had to knock a few stars off because there should be no reason why these can't be punched consistently every time and/or checked before shipped. Otherwise it seems like a quality product and hopefully will lead to one of the best parts of my childhood being passed down through the generations.
