I practice Krav Maga and do a lot of striking work.This is a nice set of focus mitts. They fit well and have the standard softball type pad at the palm of the handThe pad itself is thick and firm. I have another pair that I've purchased years ago that look just like these and have lasted a very long timeSolid set of padsif the pads fail in any way over the next six months, I will update the review

These pads are exceptional! I can now clap and make an even bigger noise when my kids cause trouble - they're Spiderman fans so the green is great for reminding them of the green goblin and scaring them into submission without having to scuff my new miss smacking them. 10/10
