Okay honestly I bought a medium then came back and bought a small. Both fit just fine and the medium is a bit looser around my waist, but it's still comfy and super cute. This fits just as expected and the material is super soft and it definitely hugs your butt when the cloth falls around your body. I'm honestly probably going to be buying more of these because it's the perfect skirt for high-waisted styles and body flattery.(first red skirt is the medium, second green skirt is the small)

(Daniel's wife speaking) I really like this skirt!Pros- Material is not super thin or see-through -- it's a little on the heavy side, but very comfortable and cool, and looks expensive.- Flattering and very comfortable.- I'm very tall -- 6' 1" -- and it was just about knee length. Yay!- Doesn't flare out too much, or cling too much -- a perfect balance between a super full skirt and a pencil skirt.Cons- The elastic waistband inside the skirt is about half the width of the waistband, so it creates sort of a line/wrinkle in the middle (see pic). I can easily smooth out the wrinkle, but it usually comes back after a little bit.- It's a little larger than expected. I have a 33"-34" waist and got the XL, and it was a bit too loose. (I just wear it lower on the hips.)I will be buying more, for sure! But I may size down, and try the other style by Dani's Choice that doesn't have the curved waistband. or

I ordered size 10 and fits perfect, at 5'4 it comes just below the knee. Nice quality material. Only downside for me was that this was not dark enough navy for me to go with a navy jumper, however looks nice with white.

This skirt is soft and flowy. It bounces around as I walk and I think it looks so cute. The color is a nice deep red too.I'm 5'6 and about a size 6-8 and it sits comfortably just below my knees. I bought the medium and it fits me very well. The material is stretchy enough to pull it up to a high waist or to let it sit at the hip.I think that this skirt is very versatile and its so comfortable. I'm very happy with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and casual skirt.

I ordered a few colors in this skirt because they are a go-to for retro outfits: just tuck in a shirt and call it a day. The material is very comfortable, the length is below the knee (Im 5'9" and it still is a good length) and it has some good twirl for dancing. These skirts don't seem to attract dog or cat hair amazingly! The only issue I have with them is that the elastic is not as wide as the waistband seam so you do have to watch your slouching while you sit, unless you have a perfectly flat tummy, or else it might create a little roll. Im pretty fit so its not too much of an issue with me but I do wish the elastic band was wider to evenly flatten it all out. Overall a nice comfy skirt appropriate to wear to the office our out swing dancing! Also a fantastic shade of maroon- not to purple or red- just right.

This fit perfectly! My order came today and I wore it right away after trying it on because it was so comfortable and looked so good on. I've already ordered a second skirt in a different color today. The waist was loose enough to be extremely comfortable, but not loose enough to droop or shift around (I wear between a size 12 and a size 16 depending on the cut of a garment since I have ample hips); I ordered the XL and I could probably get away with the L, but I love the barely-there comfort too much to size down. It's very flattering and comes just below the knees. It can easily be dressed up or down depending on the top and shoes you pair with it. I cannot recommend this skirt enough! I wish they carried all of the colors in the XL size. I will be checking back often because I can tell that this is going to become my go-to skirt.

It looks great on. I love it. I am usually a large/12 but I bought an XL based on other reviewer's recommendations to size up. I should have gone with the measurements provided by the store because the XL is a little bit too big. I wear this skirt as the picture shows at the waist, if one was wearing it lower perhaps sizing up would make sense. For reference my waist at the moment is a 31 inches and my hips are 45. Even with it being a little loose I love it. I'm tall and long legged and it still hits just below my knees. The fabric feels more like a thick cotton than a polyester with just the right amount of stretch. The seams are all nicely done and in good condition. The elastic band inside the waist of the skirt is smaller than the waist section. The waist section is 4 inches long and the elastic is 1.5 inches. It does the job well and is comfortable but there is a slight line where it ends if anyone looks closely. The elastic is not sewn into the fabric but free floating in the waistband, so before you go out you may want to check that it is not twisted, but I have not had that problem with this skirt so far. I always wear a half-slip with skirts and I recommend doing that with this skirt as well for a nicer look so it doesn't catch on your undergarments or wad between your legs as you walk, they can go for about $15 new but I always buy them at resale stores for $1.I will be ordering this skirt in other colors, next time in a L instead of an XL. Can anyone recommend some good tights?

Lovely fit, material hangs well and has survived the first couple of washes nicely. The elasticated waist is great, really comfortable if just slightly on the small side. You don't need a perfectly flat stomach to look great in this skirt, you just need to be happy with whatever belly you have - it won't hide it. I have two of these for work and they're possibly my favourite skirts right now. The burgundy and the grey are both lovely shades.
