About this item

  • WATERPROOF: these men's tactical boots are 100% waterproof, with a Gore-Tex liner that keeps water out while letting moisture escape, keeping your feet dry all day
  • POLISHABLE FULL-GRAIN LEATHER: these duty boots are fully polishable, making them ideal uniform boots for police, firefighters, EMS, and other first responders
  • SLIP-RESISTANT OUTSOLE: these black tactical boots have a Danner Kinetic outsole, with a multi-directional, low lug pattern that provides superior surface contact and traction, especially for sudden acceleration and stops
  • AIRTHOTIC HEEL CLIP: these EMS, firefighter, and police boots feature a patent-pending, plush, dual-density footbed that provides superiror cushioning and underfoot venting with a heel clip for support

Take our toughest full-grain leather and ripstop nylon, add a polyurethane footbed and a deeply-cushioned midsole, and you've got the Danner Kinetic. It's tough on the outside and soft on the inside. And thanks to its lightweight build, it's incredibly agile and responsive. The 1368 last is a sleek, streamlined last that is excellent for light trail, multi-sport and casual use. Provides a running shoe-like fit and ultimate comfort. To reduce the weight of the boot, we combine our smooth, full-grain leather with incredibly strong ripstop nylon. This durable upper is completely polishable. And the Danner Kinetic traction outsole excels at sudden acceleration and stops, with multi-directional low lugs for superior surface contact.

Need durable, comfortable boots for long shift work. This is my 3rd pair of Danners ,( rotating 2 pair now). Cost more, but worth it

- Get rid off the laces they came with get a a pair of replacements in a length of 63” for small excess and 72” if you’re wanting room to work with (The ones that it comes with are trash as mention several times. I recommend Iron Laces. Stay away from wax laces because they’ll gunk up the fabric tongue.)- It’s a leather boot, if you don’t brush, wipe, and oil them periodically they will start to fall apart. (Obenauf boot products have been great with all my boots including my wild-land boots).I have had mine for roughly two years without the bottoms cracking or falling apart, I do a lot of outdoor related things in them, so that issue may be subject to environment. I’m not overly impressed with the product in comparison with its price, and being they’re my first ✨Danner✨ boot I can honestly say they’re not worth the hype. However, they’ve held up for what I need them to, and the waterproof lining has kept my feet dry, so other than a few minor things, they’ve been the most “okayest” daily boot I’ve had.

These boots fit great right out of the box, no break in necessary. I use these everyday for work and so far no issues with the boots themselves, however the laces were a different issue. The laces started to come apart about one week after wearing them for the first time. It was a little frustrating but then I made a switch to the para cord type laces. No further issues to report. Overall these are great boots and I highly recommend them, especially those that are first responders/LEO’s.

I specifically purchased these boots for summer time use. I did some research and looked at a bunch of different brands and styles. I wasn't planning on buying Danner's, not because I don't like them (I own two pairs of Acadia's), but because I just never looked at them as a lightweight boot kinda brand.Anywho, I gave these a shot and I am glad I did. Like I said, I wanted something more lightweight for the Summer time. In my line of work, you never know when you may end up on a spontaneous run, and I wanted something lighter than the Acadia's I usually wear. I wanted something comfortable, which Danner is known for and I wanted something waterproof-ish. I don't expect a boot to become fully submerged and my feet not get wet, but if I'm standing on pavement in the rain, I want to be dry...These really have been great. I have worn them two summers now and I like them a lot. Mine have held up well. I was looking at some of the other reviews, and I haven't had blow-outs or cracked soles. I will absolutely agree and have experienced the issue with the laces. The stock Danner laces did not last long. I knew it would be the case from the reviews I read during my research. I like my boots to be securely on my feet. I assume most of the reviewers are the same and we cinch down the laces pretty tightly. The eyelets on the side of the boot are not designed in such a way to prevent the eventual destruction of the laces from constant moving back-and-forth. It really wasn't a deal breaker for me. A new pair of laces is $2.00 at Walmart. The second you notice the laces are worn, just replace the laces. Don't wait until they break because then your boot will fall off your feet while you are on-duty.. No good. I replaced the laces fairly quick after getting these and the Kiwi-brand laces held up great. It's a smaller diameter lace and it just held up better than the stock laces.I've worn Danner boots for well over 10 years. You really can't beat them. You may pay a premium, but these are your feet you are talking about. Protect your feet!

Edit: I've subtracted 2 stars. These are falling apart with 2 years of hard use. Look Danner, you need to pick a line, either you're competing with Bates Boots and Walmart ($), or you're competing with Whites Boot Co ($$$$). Stop trying to ride the middle, everybody online is complaining that Danner used to make good boots that last a lifetime.Original review:I have stupid wide feet, most brands are still too narrow in W. This boot is perfect, no boot strecher required, comfortable and can take being stood on all day. Will purchase again. Have had for a few months now and no sign of wear.

Stop shopping and just buy them! Best boots ever. I have always used Danners but in my law enforcement career these boots are great. They feel as I am walking on clouds. They are not showing any signed of wear at all yet. Soles are grippy and leather is great. Every day I put these on before work I think to myself, worth every penny. My feet are not tired at the end of the day and never have any pain. Believe me, just by then and you won’t regret it. They get more comfortable everyday you were them. Great boot!

These boots are perfect for ever job I have worked. They are comfortable and lighter weight then most. They provide amazing support and have lasted through 16 hr days with no pain. They are still holding strong a year later. My only dislike was the first four days breaking them in was excruciating. After the 4th day i have had absolutely no rubbing or pain. They have helped my back pain dramatically. I will be buying these boots again in the future and have recomended them to all my friends who work long shifts on their feet.

Amazing. Obviously boot/shoes are going to fit different people differently.I can't confirm any of the negative reviews, however - my experience so far has been great. I wear a 11D in Nike sneakers, so I ordered an 11D in these. They fit great. They are a narrower shoe, but so are Nike's in comparison to other brands, so I was used to that I guess. I still have good room in the toe box, and the mid-foot is secure but not binding. I would suggest anyone having tightness/binding issue on their top of foot/arch area to loosen all the laces, all the way down, and then tighten the laces only near the rear/ankle area - I've had great success keeping my foot locked in to the boot that way, but without overall restriction.I wore them for 2-3 hours both Monday & Tuesday around the house - trying to get a feel for the break in period, fit etc. I noticed almost immediately that there wasn't going to be a long break-in period - they are soft and supple. So I jumped in this morning and hit a 5 mile ruck with a 40 pound pack. No hot spots, no blisters, no rubbing, great mobility. GREAT BOOTS. With this experience of Danner - I'll probably grab a pair of the TFX Desert version as well. Impressed! 4 Stars only as I cannot rate the durability of this boot over time yet. Not concerned though, from their performance on this morning's ruck.
