The ribbon is quite long but it makes it fun when they run around with it. Has not fallen apart yet but I can see where it may. The stick included hasn’t broken yet but looks kind of flimsy. Color is just as pictured

Cuando lo vi pensé que era muy pequeño pero en realidad tiene el tamaño perfecto para mi hija de 10 años, ella esta encantada, no la usa para gimnasia solo para jugar, lo que la hace la opción correcta.

This is a Christmas present, so the child (6 years old) hasn't used it yet. I, an adult, tried it and it was a lot of fun and good exercise too. I'm sure my granddaughter will love the rainbow colors, and twirling around with it. I'm glad I purchased this. If there is any issue with it after it's been used, I will update this review.

Bought this for a 2-year old. I was wondering what she would do with it. Well, she loves it. First she likes to ask other people (adults) to wave it around for her, and she watches and laughs. Then she runs through the house with it. Now...the only thing I'm worried about is that it is 6 feet long. and I'm worried she will trip herself. That's my fault for buying it for someone too young. The ribbon itself seems to be of very good quality...good stitching, strong silk fabric. And it's very lovely.

The ribbon is so long that it needs to have a longer stick to keep the ribbon far enough from you to do anything meaningful. Otherwise you simply mummy yourself up in it when spinning. It was also hard for my kid to keep it off the ground due to the short stick. The stick is also made of cheap plastic which broke very easily after a month or so. It would have been better to have something like coated aluminum or something to that effect - something a little more durable.

I bought this Ribbon Dancer for my 5-year-old daughter. The ribbon is beautiful. It does have a tendency to get knots in it, but they come out easily. She feels like a real dancer when she plays with it, and it's so entertaining that my boys (ages 2 and 6) keep stealing it from her to play with it themselves! I would recommend this product to anyone. As an added benefit, if the ribbon frays or becomes damaged, it looks like it would be fairly easy to replace it.

I got this for my 4 year old daughter along with a Barbie dance video, it also goes with her Angelina Ballerina video. She has been acting out what she sees on TV lately and with this ribbon dancer, she might as well have been Barbie herself. It spurs her imagination and gives her confidence. And she's not easy on it, either. It gets knots in it, but they are easy to get out, and so far, it hasn't ripped off the wand and is still in good condition.I would recommend this for any little princess, not just competitive dance.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter after her ribbon from the dollar store disintegrated (literally), and she loves it. Although she is currently not in a dance program or in gymnastics, she loves to dance around the house with the ribbon in tow.The ribbon's colors are vibrant and durable. The plastic stick is solid and the ribbon is connected to the stick with a rotating ball, preventing tangels. The ends of the ribbon can get knotted from time to time, but easy to untie. My daughter has been playing with it non-stop for over a month and it has not frayed or ripped. It has even withstood the abuse of her twin 2 year old brothers. They have created their own games to play with the ribbon, and sometimes the boys just enjoy their big sister waving the ribbon. When I find a moment, I plan on gluing/sewing the end of the ribbon to increase its use/life.Overall a very fun toy that encourages my kids to be active - to jump, dance, and run around. For $8, a solid return on my investment for the pleasure it brings them.
