The BDTAC soft gun case I bought is perfect to hold my Taurus semiauto with barrel flashlight and four 17 round magazines. It’s made with a rugged fabric shell, plenty of foam padding, and has a heavy duty zipper. Good value for the money.

When I saw this case I was most excited because there were two in the picture…. In every picture there were two.I chose this case because of its reviews and the “fact” that I would be getting two cases…but just one case… I looked it over and it is well made.Very stiff/firm sides which is just what I wanted. There is a stretchy compartment that my Taurus tx22 fit in perfectly but there was not enough room for the bag to zip if I had any magazines. So definitely need to be a gun smaller than your hand….Since I was expecting two cases I am returning this one.

I was looking for a pistol bag that would protect my guns from scratching each other while in storage or on the way to the range. These bags work great. They have stiff outer walls which help them stay in place in the bag and don't just crumple down into a pile at the bottom. The handle is perfect for pulling them out of the bag. The material is high quality and will probably last a long time. The zippers feel like they are pretty tough too. There are 4 magazine pouches on one side and a sleeve w a strap to keep the gun down in the sleeve. There is also a semi rigid panel that sits between the gun and the magazines to prevent them from rubbing on each other. It's attached w velcro so you can remove it if you need to. Some pistol bags have the thick padding (which I don't really care for bc it adds a lot of unnecessary bulk) but these are thinner walls. They're thick enough to protect your equipment, but not so thick to take up additional room in the range bag.I have a S&W M&P full size with a compensator with a total length of 10" from the beaver tail to the tip. It fits just fine. They're 10" measurement is accurate for what it will hold. I have a 24 round extended mag for the M&P that fits just fine in the medium bag with the mag in the gun. This was exactly what I was looking for. I don't have any issues I can come up now to make this a better product. I bought 4, and they are all of the same matching quality.

I purchased the Small case. The case is being used for an Sig P938, so it is a small pistol and there is plenty of space left on the pistol side for another magazine or a small bottle of CLP. The material is thick and feels very sturdy. The stitching looks good and the seams are double stitched. There’s a removable divider in the middle with a zipper, but I do not know that I’ll use it for anything. Theres also a zippered pouch on the outside that I don’t think I’ll use either, but I’ll not complain about extra zipper pouches. I just don’t need them but they’re there.Out of curiosity, I tried a Sig P229 and the double stack magazines are just a little too thick. The case is still a good size for the gun and two magazines if they’re offset with the pistol. The case will zip closed but is a little deformed. If it was just 1/4” - 1/2” thicker it would have fit the double stack better with 4 magazines in the sleeves.Next, I tried my Sig P220. The pistol was snug but it did fit. The single stack magazines allow the case to close all the way without much effort zipping it up.I don’t know where it’s made but doubtful it’s Made in the USA which is my only real knock on this case. But, the price reflects accordingly.Pretty satisfied with the case so I ordered another Small for the P220.The case will work fine for a truck gun. I would recommend this product if you’re looking for this type of soft case.

First off, the gun retention system doesn't work all that well; you stick the pistol in the pocket and pull the strap over the gun and attach it to the velcro. However, there's nothing to keep the gun from moving around laterally, so the barrel end slides around and it slips out from under the strap. I've opened the case many times and my pistol just falls right out.Second, the pistol takes up the entire depth of the case. If you put magazines in the mag holders and try to close the case with a pistol on the other side, the side bows out like a soft sided suitcase you filled up with clothes and then tried to put a pair of boots on top. It's just not thick enough to carry both. The divider is removable, which is a good thing since it doesn't really have a purpose. I'm not sure what they expect you to put in the zipper compartment, since anything besides paperwork will only add to the bulk getting in the way of you trying to close it.It seems sturdy and I like the dark cammo pattern, but I can't use it for what it's intended.

This case feels like it is very sturdy. And fits my pistol good as well as 4 extra magazines. It is a good size seems to travel well. It looks like a note book case and hides the profile of my pistol well for the price it is a good value. And so far it looks like it will protect my equipment well.

Got this for a g19 and it just seems a little over sized for it. Material feels cheap. Not sure what the rear zipper pocket is actually for. Does what it needs to though.
