MOST of the time it wouldn't charge the batteries to begin with. Then today it literally exploded in our garage. The flames did wall damage, but fortunately it was caught before it could do even more serious damage. If it weren't for the fact that someone was outside when the explosion happened and was able to remove it from the power, it could very well have caused a major fire over here. Lost 4 batteries as well. Yes, the actual Dewalt is almost 4 times the cost, but at least you don't have to worry about the risk of explosion and fire.

Like that you can charge two batteries at a time. Charge time is ok. May take a little longer than name brand but is good purchase for the price. Hope it continues to work well.

Received on time seems to be made of good material and quality the size is good for as many batteries that are able to fit the charger seems to lasts for a long while charging batteries takes a bit of time for one that’s totally drained but for a quick charge it seems okay

Works with OEM and aftermarket. But this is not a quick charge. Each side ( right 2 and left 2 are a one hour charge. But if you have four batteries, it lets you continually use most power tools.

I have many Dewalt 12V-20V lithium-Ion battery powered tools that I use as a self-employed carpenter and I have been looking for a more efficient and faster way to charge my batteries. I decided on this four port charger to speed up the process when I am on the job site and when I get home after work. This charger is worth the money. I love the handle on it so I can carry around to the led lights to show the charge on the batteries. Definitely safe with the built-in safeguards that can monitor each battery which protects my batteries against overcharging, overloading, overheating and short circuiting. For a bonus, it comes with a dual USB charger also. I can say that this product has reduced charging time and has improved work efficiency for me.
