My wife saw something like this at a quilting show but couldn't purchase the pin holder, so I ordered this item for her. The pin cushion works fine. Although the outside doesn't seem terribly strong, it should be sufficient to keep pins and needles together and easily accessible.

LOVE! This is the cutest embroidery accessory ever and is a great place to store your sewing needles if you have a puppy who can't resist grabbing your sewing cushion and swallowing sewing needles for fun...basically not only is this cute, but it has a top that covers the needles!

Love this little needle storage lipstick container. I take my hand projects with me sometimes and this makes taking the needles so easy. You will love it. Even bought an extra one for a friend!

I love the idea of holding needles in what looks like a stick of lipstick. But cushion is too shallow to hold real needles.
