I had a struggle while installing this, had to force it in with a metal bar as it's very stiff.

OK, I got cheap and put 1/2 inch Drive belts on my riding mower. Three Years later I couldn't figureout why I had slippage on the variable speed pulley, I had 1/2 inch belts. That was the problem.I put on the OEM type belt and no more slippage. Thank You , Very much.
