I have a small gutter area that is next to my back door that I wanted to extend a small patio slab at my back door. I was originally going to just build a frame with 2x4 and set it in there. However, water flows through there when it rains and I wanted a way to raise it about the ground. That where these pedestals came in.I looked at other deck pedestals and they all pretty much require a flat, level surface. The small gutter area has a small slop, so those won't work. The way these are design, I can actually attach them to a 2x4 at a slight angle and it still works. These are also adjustable, so I was able to level that platform I'm building so that it's level with the existing slab and still allow water to drain through and keep the lumber above the ground. The are made of plastic, but they feel sturdy enough for my use. There's also a rubber like pad on the bottom that contacts the ground that provides some cushioning, but more importantly, it anti-slip. Even though I didn't need that many for my project, I got the 12 pack, which was a great deal at less than $3 per piece.

These were exactly what I needed. Put a deck over existing patio slab.

They are good, but did not have enough range for our application. Be sure to check the range of lift.

Like the adjustment, but the shipping took way to lone and no tracking number when turned over to usps.

If you have something wide to put them on either concrete or a cement block pad they can be decent as long as u elevate the deck /beams up with something else and screw these up to match but they aren’t strong enough to do any adjustments themselves . Also screw them in gently or they will snap the mount portion right off … 2 of mine were snapped in the box but it left me with enough to use since the 10 pack had more then I needed . They are cheap so that is good but brittle (maybe I just got a bad batch ) I would have exchanged them if I didn’t need to use them right away the day the weather wasn’t bad in ohio

1/3 of these broke when attaching them to the subfloor frame for a small metal shed.

I used these adjustable deck blocks for a Suncast Shed build and they worked out great. I wanted an easy way to level the foundation without the hassle of perfectly leveling the ground, and these blocks made the job much simpler. At first, they felt a bit flimsy, especially around the attachment point, but I’ve been impressed with how well they’ve held up. So far, they’re supporting about 600 lbs of items in the shed with no signs of stress or sagging. The adjustment system works smoothly, and I like that it has two adjustment points to get the height exactly where you need it. It made getting the foundation level much easier than expected. If you’re looking for a quick, adjustable solution for leveling outdoor structures, these deck blocks are a solid choice. Just be mindful of the attachment point, but otherwise, they’ve held up great for my project.
