I was super happy with the purple color when I opened the box....it actually matched the color swatch on the site. The clasps are easy to use and very well made. I do wish they made the purple color in the braided rope style rope, but the velvet will do for now. The only reason I gave 4 stars is two reasons-- 1) when I went to shorten one of them, the way they are fixed to the clasp cap is a kinda hokey...its a small piece of hardwood that the screws go into but then the metal chain inside is zip tied to this piece of wood, so the weak link is the zip tie breaking or slipping off. I upgraded the one I cut with a chunk of delrin plastic and drilled a hole for the chain link to afix to with a small locking carabiner. 2) The foam noodle covering the chain is kinda cheesy foam, it kinks and twists easy and mine were folded in shipping and the kink is right in the middle and very visible and wont go away...if they upgraded these 2 things, they would be 100%.By far the best stanchion ive purchased. Ive used multiple other more economical brands and these are, by far, well worth the price. They are sturdy and look great. They really elevated our entry space. Customers have told me they have stopped to eat at our restaurant because it looks like its hard to get into...lol....true story! I have had zero issues In the month ive had them, They have survived the wind and the rain(I put a piece of clear tape across the top of the signs to keep the water from getting in to the paper) and the sun. They clean up nicely with a microfiber and the gleaming gold beckons customers to come hither, which has actually paid for the price difference in the cheaper ones. I called the company direct to ask some questions and was pleasantly surprised at the kind and knowledgeable customer service I got from the gentleman I spoke with. I ended up ordering a few more accessories direct from the manufacturer, and fyi, its actually cheaper to order off their website, they have a more extensive selection, and the shipping was just as fast(and free) as on Amazon Prime. I plan to add more in the near future and will stick with the CCC brand...they have made a repeat and satisfied customer out of me.
