Home button installation step description:
The first step
Take out the parts as shown in the picture, separate them with your fingers, and keep the parts marked by the arrows in the picture.
The Second step
Tear off the circle gasket reserved in the previous step, and stick the sticky side to the button hole on the back of the touch screen. Please align and paste as much as possible.
The third step
Take out the buttons in the tool kit, as shown in the figure.
The fourth step
Put the back of the button up, and then put it into the button hole, as shown in the figure.

The fifth step
Take out the parts (waterproof ring) as shown in the figure, and tear off the protective film.
The sixth step
Paste the sticky side on the button hole, please pay attention to calibration. Through this step, the waterproof ring can initially fix the button cable on the touch screen, as indicated by the arrow.
The seventh step
Take out the part (horns) as shown in the picture. The two sides of the part are sticky.
The eighth step
Paste the sticky side of the part on the key hole of the touch screen, and the center of the part is aligned with the center of the key hole, and the key change is installed.
At this point, you can test and press the button to see if the button can be pressed normally. If there is no response when pressing, please check whether the installation of all parts is fully calibrated.

This worked great. Was an easy replacement and functioned as expected. I did read the product info and knew going in that I would loose my touch ID function with replacing my home button. But as I had already lost that function this was a suitable replacement.

I used this button to replace a home button in my kid's iPad 6th gen. Install was easy and it worked right away. Button is clicky and feels like a quality replacement. Keep in mind, you will lose touch ID with all home button replacements unless you get the home button switched out at an Apple store.

im just going to get a screen what a pain and then when i get all the sticky parts put together the button doesnt fit very well and wont go through all the way.

Be mindful this don’t have the fingerprint reader. But works perfectly.

Button works like stock with the exception of finger print reading but that was expected as only the original home buttons will do that. It was nice that it came with everything needed to put the home button on a new glass and digitizer so I don't have a funky pressing home button. It was my fault I broke the stock home button but this works well as a 3rd party replacement.
