This a great quality trowel. It's priced under 10 dollars which is awesome. The tip is great for those detailed pointing jobs, making it so easy to use. Over all, it's just a nice little tool and I would order this again.

I got this trowel for applying Flexcoat to the corners of my exposed foundation. It does work, but I noticed that the pointy angle of the trowel makes it awkward at best and uncomfortable at worst to work on the corners. If it were more obtuse, say 45 degrees, the trowel may line up with the edges better and make it easier to be held.

It’s a very nice quality trowel. The handle feels solid, and the end cap can be used for poking the stone etc. The steel feels solid and won’t bend. It’s a slight upgrade from the others I have from the big orange store. I like it and would buy it again.

I needed a very pointed trowel, and this one didn’t disappoint.The ergonomic wooden handle is a pleasure to use, and the trowel is very strong; made of stainless steel.No signs of rusting whatsoever, after several uses. We do clean our tools after use and allow them to dry.

The 5 1/2 inch steel pointing trowel for concrete by Dekor / Quality Shop is made in Turkey. The tool is made from German steel. I did not find anything with this tool that seem to be low quality, but there are some finishing issues that suggest this is not high quality either. I found this to be a mid-range trowel that is worth $10 or so. The weld spot is strong, but has some small pockets around the weld that are not so easy to clean. I had to file my trowel as it had rough edges and I like smooth metal when doing finishing work. I really like this trowel, but the item description gave me the impression of a higher quality product.3 stars

My wife and I like to use our metal detectors as we travel. We are also big fans of "Time Team". This trowel is perfect for fine sorting while treasure hunting. It will allow precise cleaning of a area or items we might find. It will help detailed excavation. Looks great, feels good in the hand. Great value. It will also work well when I do any concrete work in the future.

Price at the time of this review is less than $10, and that is quite honestly a steal for this high quality DEKOR 5.5” Pointing Trowel.I am replacing all of my masonry tools with DEKOR because of their quality construction, excellent design and US distribution. This trowel has a wooden handle that is comfortable to hold, even in my small hands. Other DEKOR tools have silicone/plastic handles and those are likewise extremely comfortable to work with. I’m not a professional, but I DIY repairs and decorative builds around our house, so good tools are important - something to make up for my lack of expertise. I’m sure a professional can work miracles with a putty knife, but I can’t, so DEKOR provides a full line of tools so I can pick the right one for the job.I’ve used my new Pointing Trowel for some horizontal repairs on our brickwork. After grinding out the old mortar, I used this to re-mortar the lines. The size kept me focused on a manageable portion before moving on. The shape provided a guide to sliding the mortar into place, and i used my other DEKOR pointing tool to finish it off.
