The DELSWIN combination lock is a typical lock i appreciate the simple touch keypad access. It's not the thickest lock out there and I can't comment on how it would hold up to abuse or a skilled attack to break it. I'm using to secure a gate from the inside and am considering a second for a deck box with some more valuable pool gear. This is a simple and great upgrade as I was using and old bike cable wrapped around the gate post. Definitely a classy step up.

Neat lock, unfortunately it does not open or close if it gets at all cold, which, when you live in Minnesota is an issue. If you live in a cold climate choose something else.

DELSWIN Combination Lock for Locker I hope that this type of combination lock is the lock of the future. I am 80 years old, and it has been increasingly difficult for me to open my dial combination lock at the swimming pool without my glasses. This lock can be opened without even looking at it. The lock has a 6 digit combination requirement, but in the low security environment of the pool, setting a combination of 555222, for example, opens the lock in seconds. The lock has excellent water intrusion resistance, and the humid pool locker room offers no problems. The lock only has one problem, for which I am not going to lower the rating, because it is common among all locks of this type. If the battery capacity is too low for opening, there is an inability to open the lock. I solve this by keeping a pair of batteries in my car, and I have an emergency key secreted in the car. Carrying it in my gym bag will not work, since the bag is in the locker. I do wish that they would design a system where it takes more battery energy to close the lock, than to open it, then there would be a lock that does not close instead of not open. Maybe a warning light for low battery capacity could be available in the lights that flash when the lock is operated. Maybe show a row of different colored lights, indicating low battery condition. Anyway, if you see an 80 year old guy in a Speedo running (briskly walking) through the pool parking lot, he probably has one of these locks. This lock gets a 5 rating from me. I will never be without one. Caveat emptor for the battery situation.
