Thank goodness for Amazon sellers. Fit our tub perfect. Price is amazing compared to local plumbing stores. We had called Delta but they sent wrong parts. Decided to take a look on Amazon. Very happy with purchase.

Overall, the Delta RP62149 Windemere is a quality product. It is a heavy-duty, solid metal spout. However, the product description is incorrect. The description states that the depth of the spout is 5.5 inches in depth. It is not. It is 5.25 inches in depth and leaves a .25 inch gap between the edge of the spout and the wall after it is screwed in place. For that reason I had to return it.

Pay very close attention to your existing stub-out length before you order any replacement faucet. Make sure new one accommodates that length, unless you don't mind doing some more involved plumbing.This one is very nice quality and threaded on very easily looks great - job done!GOOD VALUE

I did my best to find a replacement for our current spout chipped and dull one and this one looked like it would fit.There is a short 8-inch pipe that comes through a shower wall that is threaded and both ends and extends out of the wall, into the hollow body of the spout to thread into a socket at the front of the spout. I put the pipe in the wall first then thread the spout onto the pipe and turned until it was tight and pointing down.

Beautiful strong shiny unit. Very good-looking spout. The only thing as has been stated before is this. It will only work well if your connection is 3 7/8th or 4 inches at the most in length. Any longer than 4 inches will leave a too large gap at the wall when it is fully screwed on. I also think that if your pipe is any shorter than 3 3/4 inches you may not be able to get it to screw on so you should definitely remove your existing spout and make this measurement before you order. You can leave your old spout off for a few days until your new one is delivered as the copper pipe will work ok as a spout on a temporary basis.

It was easy to install. It took minutes, and the transformation was instant. It is heavy and seems like it will last for years.I would purchase it again.

To reiterate what others have said, this is a much better spout than the box store offerings at only $5 more. It has metal screw on threads as opposed to the big box spout plastic adapter insert and is heavier and thicker. But again to repeat what others of said, the pipe sticking out of the wall needs to be at an exacting length, between 3 7/8-4". In my case, my pipe was approximately 4 and maybe 3/16" and when tightened down securely there was an approximate 3/16" gap between the spout and the wall. So I went with the cheaper box store offering but the cheap insert made me so nervous, I cut a gap in the bottom in case it starts leaking as I don't want the water to go into the wall.. If it does start leaking, I'm going to put this one on and just use a lot of caulk to cover the gap.
