Your car/truck was designed with a certain make/model of sparkplug in mind. You will usually get the best performance by sticking with those recommendations. Fancy multi-tip and platinum/iridium spark plugs are ways to make you part with more money.Replacing the auto-store house brand plugs in my Toyota truck with properly-gapped plugs help cure hesitation and misfiring.
