What I love most, however, is the slow feeder design. My cat is notorious for gobbling down her meals way too fast, but since using this bowl, I've noticed a significant change. The unique layout encourages her to slow down and enjoy her food, which not only promotes better digestion but also keeps her more satisfied. It's been a joy to watch her engage with her meals instead of just inhaling them!

Did not expect this to be very large since every cat product that's advertised as so is usually a pretty standard size. This thing is huge though (a positive to me). I have two cats that eat wayyy too fast so they can try to steal food from the others, so I thought slow feeder bowls would help. Initially it did really slow them down, but as they've got used to it some speed has returned lol. It is still a huge improvement from when they had normal open bowls though. The tilt on these is great, not too flat or too dramatic. They are sometimes annoying to clean if any wet food crumbs dry up in the crevices. Also did get a kind of scrape when it got knocked over so it looks a little aged after only a month, but that is better than if it had shattered. Material feels sturdier than plastic, less heavy than glass.

My dearest friend adopted an adorable older cat who is a great companion. His only issue was scarfing down his food and, as a result, sometimes choking. He needed a new dish, something to help him eat in a healthier, slower manner. Enter this dish!This cute cat dish stands at just the right height to be comfortable for almost any kitty and is perfect for Bastian. But you know how cats can be with their finicky nature… would he actually eat from it? Yes, he would! He seems to like the new bowl quite a bit and it definitely helps with his fast eating. Plus, he no longer chokes when he’s eating!It’s fairly easy to clean provided you wash the dish soon after use. Even if you don’t, a little spray on dish soap will make easy work of removing any stuck bits.

Seems like a good quality bowl, although be aware of two things: (1) this will be better for medium-larger cats rather than kittens owing to height and (2) the attachable bowl is quite a bit larger than I was expecting! Compared to other ones on the market, this is almost like a full-sized soup or salad bowl compared to the smaller “kids hand-sized” bowls I’ve seen ma y places elsewhere. We have larger cats who are perpetually hungry (surprise!), so it works well for them. Interesting ridges in the bottom of the bowl- maybe for dry food or something, but assuming you want to fill it with 3-4 cans of wet Friskies (they’d fit), I don’t know if that’d be the greatest idea. Might allow kitties an easier chance to lick the bottom however without knocking residue out of the bowl onto the floor. Seems good quality and good construction; easy assembly of the base and bowl.
