This stuff is awesome!!Skeptical, but this was a last resort before buying new plastic pieces. This product is like a paint, but does it work? Yes it does. Applied my bed rails of my 2004 F150. Been on there all summer and still looks great. Follow instructions and you will be a happy customer.

This stuff is awesome, it's like a black paint/dye that will turn your plastic black. It's very important to degrease all your plastic before applying otherwise car washes will spray it off in spots. I used paint thinner to clean and remove any grease. One bottle will do full cladding on an avalanche. I do have to touch up some spots couple times a year but it's super easy and I haven't noticed any fading which is really nice. Pic taking after it's been on for about 6 months.

My 20 year old Tundra was looking faded in multiple areas of trim, bumper, mud flaps, mirror, etc. It just looked sad. The Southern California sun really beat on it. I am a female senior citizen. I watched the video. Decided to give it a try. I read the instructions. Watched video again after receiving product. This is something I had never done before in all my decades of auto ownership. This is an old truck and I figured that it could not look any worse. I took my time. The masking took awhile! The result was amazing. That old truck just looks like it is smiling! Neighbors commented on how good it looks. Gave the name of the product to neighbors and told them about the video. This stuff really made a difference. I have a very happy Tundra. Proud to have it in my driveway! Looking good!

I put this on my truck bed rails (Nissan Titan). I also put this on a plastic piece of my tailgate - where the Nissan logo is. It works great, but you can tell that it was wiped on. It is very suddle, but if you are picky, you will notice. Also, wait a day between coats. Do not attempt to put a second coat as I did. When I put the second coat on within 1 hour of the first coat, I accidentally started to peal the first coat—my fault, not the product's fault.I give it four stars because after a few weeks you can notice that it is losing its deep dark black. It still looks great compared to sun-damaged plastic in Florida. It just isn't as great as day one, if you know what I mean. Sorry that I am too lazy to take photos, and I am just being overly picky for review purposes. I would buy again if I didn't have more than half a bottle.

This stuff is AMAZING!!! I have tried everything from Mothers to Meguiar's to try & get my faded trim back to its former glory. Plastic trim is just really difficult to get back to the original look. Dressings hide the problem & generally they all wash off the next time it rains or the car is washed. Even worse, sometimes there's streaks left under the trim after a rain where the dressing has just streaked down the paint. Pointless, really. Don't waste your money on a dressing. Buy Trim Kote. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, I promise you!! I saw great reviews of this & thought I'd give it a try since it's an actual dye and not a dressing. It works as promised. It's easy to apply, and dries super quickly. The Revival product that comes with it makes it even more shiny & deeper in color (my trim is black) and is worth getting along with the dye, although it is a dressing. I wish I had taken "before" pictures of my car, but the trim looks BRAND NEW now & I really can't thank these guys enough for making such a great product. I've had the product on all my plastic trim for a month now & we've had a lot of storms here in the south (my car isn't garaged) and my trim still looks brand new. Best money I've EVER spent on a trim-restoring product. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends.

Hands down the absolute best black trim product I have ever used in my 60 years! I have a Chevrolet Avalanche so if you have ever seen one you know the ENORMOUS amount of plastic trim it has! I washed and dried it. I then used rubbing alcohol and a lint free rag to clean any residue off from previous cleaners etc. With the amount of area the Avalanche has to cover i decided to use a 3" trim paint roller to apply the product to all large flat surfaces and do the smaller curves and crevices with a lint free rag. Doing ONE SECTION at a time I started in the tight part with the rag and then used the roller to do the rest. It HONESTLY looks like new. It has been on now for 5 months. Gone through several automatic car washes and still looks the same as the day I did it. I think the roller was the key to not having any streaking since these bed and body panels are so long. Definitely wear latex gloves as this is a dye of sorts. After the washing and drying the actual time for all of the alcohol prep and application from start to finish was about 2 hours. So a regular car should only take an hour at max! I still have 75% left in the bottle!

I thought I was getting something of a die, but turns out this is more of an acrylic paint. I'm sure it works alright for some applications, but I really wanted to get something that could soak into the plastic instead of coat it. I suppose the name would have given it away, but I saw another person had posted about this with a Vehicross and I thought I would give it a try, but I wasn't a fan of the finish it produces. I'm glad I only put it on a small area, as I will be taking it off for sure. I guess I'll move onto the next product I wanted to try, Wipe New.Bottom Line: If you're looking for a coating to restore your trim, this can work pretty well, but if you're looking for more of a dye and something that can't chip off or wear through in time, look elsewhere. I'll probably use this on my window trim, but beyond that, it doesn't seem to stick very well to some of the other plastics on my vehicle.
