Noticeable difference, it turns very smooth. No leaks, good turn radius. No sensors set off on my 2008 Silverado. First experience with this manufacturer, I'll be buying more.

This part was incorrectly assembled at the factory. The mounting bracket in the picture has one of the hydraulic fittings between the bolt holes. That is not correct. I had to remove the pressure lines and rotate the bracket 180 degrees to be able to install the item. I suspect I voided the warranty. Anyway, sending it back wasn't an option. The part works fine.

Not bad quality, but does not come with hose seals. Sellers description of rack describes that it comes with all new seals, after attaching power steering hoses fluid poured out!. Company does not install any seal for hoses. These seals were $37 at dealership and I waited a week for them. These seals also take a special tool to install.

Used this system on my 2009 Tahoe, (223,000 miles) had a little play in my steering and a little wobble when I hit the brakes easy , installed this unit in under 3 hours and drives like new.

This is a remanufactured rack and pinion, but Detroit Axle sent out a great unit. There are no leaks, and it is like new as far as operation.
