This star rating system is a joke, it doesn't deserve 1 star let alone 5!Shortly after installation, the steering rack boot I purchased from Detroit Axle was/is smashed as you can see, and the rack itself was/is severely damaged. It doesn't take a certified mechanic to recognize that, or the present dangers. Very unsafe to drive my family around in its inoperable condition! It should be recalled!I contacted Detroit Axle for their "lifetime warranty" refund, or replacement item, but their representative disrespectfuly declined to proceed with it. Instead, he demanded more money from me ($141.00 to be exact) to ship it in addition to my initial purchase of $200.00 that I already wasted at their fraudulent/con artist company!Very unprofessional. Buyer Beware!!! Their "lifetime warranty" is nothing short of a pathetic scam.
