If you're just getting into lampwork or are already lampworking and are curious about this glass just pass on it. I bought 5 lbs and it's almost completely unusable. It's full of air bubbles and the solid colors are unstable. The solids turn into a bubbly mess at any temperature you try to work them. When encased, they crack and/or check. I didn't believe the rumors I'd heard about how awful this glass is. Now, I wish I'd listened. Please avoid this brand.

I am, by no means, literate in the glass blowing world. However, as my sons birthday is Christmas Eve, I wanted to get him something special that he would appreciate. He told me the basics of how he uses Borosilicate, COE 33 glass. I jumped off the deep end and ordered a bunch of Devardi glass that fit that description. He says it's not exactly what he is used to, but he still likes it. Apparently it works a ton better when you use actual tools to make the product. It's not as free as some other glass, I guess. While it can be used without tools, I am informed that it bubbles a bit. Either way, my self taught- glass blowing son has made some nice things already. It will be up to him as to whether or not we order more.

Nice variety of colors. Was not able to find the same specific colors available on Amazon, may look into the website.
