Replaced an intermittent solenoid on my 2013 Escape 1.6L. Worked properly for about a week and then the CEL came on. Forscan showed a P0299 error for Turbo underboost. Sure enough, as shown in the first photo, this valve would no longer allow the boot pressure to exceed 19.6 PSI.Fortunately I still had the old unit so I reinstalled it. The second photo shows the old unit after reinstallation, with its original problem of dropping out at high boost and causing a slight shutter on heavy acceleration but at least it allows the pressure to get to 30+PSI so I know that low boost is a solenoid problem, not something else.This may be a one unit problem but I'm replacing it with something from a different manufacturer.

Wasn’t right for my car I didn’t read but seems solid and like in good condition. I’d recommend you try it if you have a 1.6 engine but I got a 2.0. But seems made to last.
