If you are anything like me and love to go thrift stores shopping on the weekends a d maybe hit an Estate sale or two? This little pocket size Diamond tester will definitely come in handy, to makesure you are getting what you paid for, but can also find you some hidden treasures in the wild. It's a compact tester that can fit in your pocket and go find the treasures. But it's also a great tool to have at home, afte my mom passed away I was given alot of her jewelry, we just weren't sure what we had, it all sparked. So without having to take it all down to my Jeweler, I was able to determine for myself that a few of the pieces were actually REAL DIAMONDS. And I was able to pass them on to our Daughter forher wedding. With the secured knowledge that they were REAL and worth more then just the sentimental value. She knows now to keep them safe to pass them down to her children.Great tool to have for sure.Cheers 🍷

This diamond tester is a great tool for anyone looking to identify diamonds and other gemstones with ease. The clear screen makes it super simple to read the results quickly. If the reading is above 9, you’ve got a true diamond, and if it’s around 7, it’s an emerald or agate. It saves a lot of time and effort when checking stones. The tester works best with two hands—one to hold the tester and the other to hold the gem. If used correctly, it gives accurate results every time. When testing diamonds, you’ll hear a beeping sound, which is helpful, but it stays silent for imitation stones like cubic zirconia, so you can easily distinguish between the two.I love that it’s not just for diamonds, but also for other stones like jade, emeralds, and even agates. The included magnifying loupe is a nice bonus, making it easier to examine gems in detail. My only downside is that it can’t differentiate between natural and lab-grown diamonds (like Moissanite), but for beginners, this tool does a great job of identifying real diamonds from fakes. Overall, a solid, reliable tester!

It's easy to use. It works. As for accuracy it seams to be accurate. It's built decent. The price is fair.

This Diamond Tester Pen is a wonderful item to have when you are going to yard sales. You always see bins full of old costume jewelry. I have used this everytime I go to yard sales since I have gotten it and I have found three pieces of jewelry that had real diamonds in them. I am so glad I got this!

We've not had a chance to test this out in the field, so to speak. But in terms of testing what we know are natural versus man-made diamonds and fake diamonds, this thing has been accurate so far. But just to be clear man-made diamonds are real diamonds so they come up as real with this tester, as they should. But so far it's 100% accurate with everything we've tried and stores easily enough in a purse or something like that if you know you're going out looking at jewelry or going to hit any kind of pawnshops or garage sales where you might encounter the odd jewelry item. It's pretty well priced too so if you occasionally do deal in jewelry every so often in your life it's worth getting. A lot of the man-made stuff is becoming much more prevalent these days and so you can't always look for occlusions and natural defects to ensure that what's your steering at is actually a diamond or not.
