It was very disappointing to open the package and find this little paper thing that doesn't even work and looks nothing like the picture advertised.I paid close to $5 US for this and it wasn't at all what I thought it would be.

Great product. My 12 year old daughter used these for her seventh grade science fair project. She built a photo spectrometer and measured how the light diffracted using different types of colored liquid.

My daughter used this slide to build a home made spectroscope and won the Elementary school level state science fair!So I would highly recommend it.

My daughter used it for her science project and it worked well for her. The only problem was the shipping time. When I realized it wouldn't arive in time I ordered from another supplier that would get it here in time. Then I was surprised when both arrived on the same day. I would give it 5 stars if they could give a faster shipping option.

Good diffraction grating. The lines are just at the limit of resolution under 400 power optical microscope. See my review of the double axis 13,500 lines per inch slide.

I'm building my own spectrograph and wanted to try this grating. They work very well and I can calculate wavelengths of various light spectra with great precision.
