This looks like my doctors office scale. I like that you don't need batteries and is chargeable but it does come with batteries if you want to use them. I like using it to weigh my cats, I don't have to try to awkwardly bend to see the weight while holding them. Can easily store it away as well.

I’m not so large that I need this scale but I do have some trouble with reading numbers at the distance with my glasses off. So this is convenient for that. (Although I have another scale with large illuminated numbers that is also easy to read).This agrees with my other scale to within .2 pounds of my weight, so I guess they are both probably reasonably accurate for most purposes. This scale does have a label: Not for Trade, which I will probably do anyway as one of the primary uses of this type of scale is to weigh boxes when printing out a label.Anyway, seems fine.

This is an excellent 660lb/ 300kg capacity heavy duty scale that is so accurate, you can weigh almost anything from small and large parcels, to luggage. This is a heavy scale made with stainless steel when compared to a regular home scale but remember, it's made to handle 660lb/ 300kg. I like the digital readout, it's very easy to read with a decent LCD and the readout point enactments. The scale has a built in rechargeable battery as well as it can be powered by 2 AAA batteries included.The only disappointment I have about the scale is the cord from the scale base to the hand control, it's too short. Other than that, I love this heavy duty Medical Grade Physician Scale. It's very accurate, easy to use with an excellent price. When you compare this full featured scale to the big box stores, this is an fantastic value.

A very accurate scale, and with a very unique feature. It has the ability to read a parents weight, then the parent picks up a small child and the scale now can show the first weight of the parent and then flash to the child's weight. How cool is that? I suppose that in this day and age, such computer programming is very simple, but to see the application in such a scale, is still cool to me!The display is bright and easy to read. The contrast is very good. A single push on the "Mode" button, changes the weight measurements from kilograms, to pounds or pounds and ounces.I like the high degree of accuracy, and a second feature that works well with the accuracy. A "hold" displays after three "weigh-ins". The unit will flash three times, showing you the weight, but as you simply move your arm, the display changes. So after a few seconds, the display halts and shows you the weight measurement without the constant changing numbers. As the accuracy is so high, and the weight numbers keep changing, this is an excellent feature!The unit is powered by either a built-in battery or two AAA. Nice to have the choice!The display unit is attached to the actual "scale" - the part you stand on - by a thin, coiled cord. The cord can be stretched quite a bit, even though it looks like it might snap! As the display unit has an slight angle down, you will want to mount the display at about your head height. If it is lower, because of the angle of the screen, you may have difficulty reading it properly. As we all know, when you get off-axis of some displays, the result can be washed out text and numbers.The back of the display has mounting slots built into the mould, or there is a smart bar that can be extended, for setting the unit on your desk. The manufacture even provides you with screws and drywall plugs to help with mounting the display unit to a wall.Bottom Line - A very accurate, nicely designed weight scale. Easy to use, and easy to read, it is simple dedicated device for weighing!
