Belt will be a tight fit. Don't be concerned, they are designed to operate this way. Vacuum is perfect for stairs.

What can I say about these belts? They appear to be well-made. They're easy to install, and they're priced right. How well they perform ( last ) will require an update. So far, I'm quite satisfied!

The belts arrived promptly as they're shipped through Amazon (sold by Vacuum Fix). I was informed by the seller that these are style 1 compatible belts so they were a fit for my Dirt Devil Plus hand vacuum. After initially installing them the belt did slip off but after re-attaching it again it stayed on through the next vacuuming session; hopefully that was a user error and it's not an ongoing thing. The belts average about $5 a piece (3 pieces) which is more than I wanted to pay but it's fair considering these are not as easy to find in Canada. Overall I'm satisfied hoping they hold up long term - if there's no more slipping I'll update to 5 stars!*Updated review to give the belt a 5/5 stars!*

Vacuum belts arrived in a timely manner and fit my Dirt Devil hand vac.After placing new belt on the vacuum brush roller, Lift belt with a short phillips screw driver in the left hand and place it over the drive spindle of the vacuum.Coming in from the right side won't work!Remember to order new bags! This set me back a week before we could use the vacuum.
