Your cart is empty.The Alpas by Divergent Discs is a very unique putt and approach disc made in flexible silicone rubber material that Divergent calls StayPut. The disc will more successfully "Stay Put" when it hits the ground, lessening the skips and slides. It can be used as an understable approach disc to get through tight fairways without needing to throw hard, or it can be used as a putter for players who like a shallow rim and a flat disc profile. It is a great choice as an all-around starter disc for new players, or as a specialty disc for experienced players. The disc colors will vary and many discs have multiple colors blended together for even more aesthetic appeal. The flight rating numbers are 4 / 4 / -2 / 1. Weights will vary between 164g to 175g. Colors & pattern will vary!

I have bought this disc twice now. I use it often and I love the way it sails. First time it broke due to natural wear and tear after a couple months. Second time I bought it I took it out the day it arrived and it broke on the dirt after the it’s second throw :(. Definitely check for imperfections when it arrives.

This disc is more firm than the KOI. Making it more overstable than the koi but it can still turn over depending on angle. Shallow rim, so grip is less desirable to the koi. Overall still a good approach disc needing it to sit. Does have a tendency to roll at times.

I read some reviews of these Stayput type discs where people herald them for their utility, but honestly the disc did not perform for me at all so it's been shelved. It absolutely cannot be thrown at any real distance, as it has a totally unpredictable flight path. Beyond that it tends to be super wobbly when leaving the hand which makes for a crummy putt. Worst of all is I've had it roll down a hill or two which sort of defies the whole "stay put" part. I'll just stick with my R-Pro Aviar.
