Good quality, special the metal comb, easy to use. But it doesn't come with clipper. I bought one different brand before it came with a plastic comb, it is impossible to comb my curly hair dog. But this metal one did the job when you groomed the curly hair dog.

This CITYWISH Dog Grooming Scissors Set is Pretty Decent Set. I am not a professional, but I have been grooming dogs for years. I have done my own dogs in the past and now do my Brothers dog for him. I wanted this Set for just that reason. This Scissor Set looks and seems decent, I wouldn't say they are the best out there, but they will do for home use. (I wouldn't suggest for professional).In this Set you receive 3 different style scissors, a hemostat, and a comb with both wide and fine teeth. All comes in a carrying case that has a zipper closure. The Scissors are pretty easy to hold and use, I was hoping for easier open and closure, but they aren't the worst. These are lightweight. Not the sharpest scissors I have used but also not the worst. As I said, these would be great for home use and beginners. I'm hoping these will last for a little while, but I am using them on a Golden Doodle, so will see the outcome of them. I just did a trim on him, but I did try them out on him and worked decent.The price is decent, that's if they stand up to time and usage. I do recommend for home use only.I will say, when I use them and they don't impress me for home use, I will update my review.

I am a professional dog groomer and I ordered these shears hoping they’d make my job easier. Unfortunately, they have made my job harder.The short curves (both) are dull and cut more like kitchen scissors than grooming shears. The curved chunkers are mediocre and require more blending after use which doubles my time scissoring a dog. Both the chunkers and thinners catch at the base of the blades upon opening and closing the shears.The only pair that I truly use on an everyday basis are the curved thinners. Another positive is the shape of the pinky rest and handles. Very ergonomic- I haven’t even had to think about finger inserts to adjust the fitting or comfort.For $60, I wasn’t expecting true professional quality. As soon as I unpackaged them they required oiling and adjusting. To an unseasoned hand or at-home groomer these might pass as “professional” quality but they do not fit my standards.

So glad that I found these scissors, I have purchased so many other set and just sent them right back because they wouldn't even cut hair what they were made for. But this set cuts effortlessly, they r comfortable on my hand. They cut evenly. Yes they are a little expensive but they r so worth it just to have peace of mind knowing that when I need to cut my babys hair I can do so without any problems. Best scissors I have ever purchased. If I could I would give them 10 stars.

The dragon motif handles are fun, and don't get in the way of using the scissors. The tension on the scissor blades is adjustable with a nut that does not require tools. Straight out of the box the nuts on all 4 pairs of my scissors were WAY too loose and the scissor blades snagged and pulled the hair. After tightening the nuts quite a bit, the scissors cut cleanly. It would be nice to have the scissors ready-to-use right out of the box. The comb is unremarkable.
