Very nice calming/post surgery suit. The XS fit my 6.5 lb little dog well. He didn’t mind having it on and the black with the blue trim looked good on him. The fabric was a nice weight so if he has to go in for a second surgery during the summer, I don’t hunk it will be too hot.

Very good quality. Well stitched and I especially appreciate the wide Velcro band which makes it easy to adjust the sizing on the waist band to fit your dog. It is a nice onesie and I think it’ll hold up well to multiple washings. I’m very happy with this.

This could be ideal for the day of surgery as it is both a post surgical suit and a calming suit in one. I don’t think I worried or planned this much for surgeries I’ve had! As it should be ❤️

Our goldendoodle is goldendoodling and having some kind of allergic skin reaction to something that will probably end up being expensive. I got this protective shirt for him to help keep him from tearing up his skin while we wait for the new food, supplements and skin care products to kick in.He's been scratching a lot around his neck and face and causing cuts and scrapes. This shirt REALLY helps with that because it goes up over his neck. We got him an XL. I'm not sure it would fit over his ears without becoming a thong in the back, but I'm pretty sure he'd hate that anyway. He can also move freely around in it and it's not too tight or restrictive in the arms.But here's the thing - HE CAN'T PEE IN THIS. The way it's designed, probably with the intention of keeping it over abdominal wounds and preventing it from bunching up, means that he'd pee all over it if we let him outside in it. Given that we have 3 kids who always let the dogs out and he's in and out all the time - that wasn't feasible for us. So we cut off the "butt thong" part which left it like a little shirt with a hem that was a little too large. To solve that problem, I cut a strip off the butt thong that included the Velcro clasps and then just used that as a Velcro belt to hold the remaining shirt tight. It worked like a charm. He's been wearing it comfortably all day.My review images show the full suit before my alterations so you can see how it's supposed to fit.All in all, it's perfect and I get that we aren't using it for it's intended purpose necessarily so it's still 5 stars from me.
