I went to play my 88-key keyboard and was shocked to see if almost fell off the back of the stand. Turns out that both of the rear folding legs opened up further than they should have, causing the stand to tilt backwards and none of the feet sitting level on the floor because the open angle was too wide (see pic). This was almost a disaster for my expensive keyboard. This was either a manufacturing defect or they are using very cheap/thin leg stops inside the hinges. The stand looks and feels robust when you get it, but it is clearly under-engineered. This stand was assembled, keyboard placed on top and never moved.Even worse than the product failure, while I was slightly out of warranty, it seems Donner could care less about this stand. When I finally heard back from them days later, they suggested I get it repaired locally - whatever that means. No offer to provide replacement parts (probably don't have any), no offer on a discount on a replacement - nothing. They didn't seem to care how or why both of the rear legs gave out simultaneously when the stand was holding less than 1/2 of its rated weight capacity. They didn't ask a single question to try to determine what could have happened to cause such a failure.Buyer beware! I would totally avoid this stand. Buy something of higher quality instead.I just picked up a Quik Lok stand - what a difference!

This stand holds the weight as advertised, and is not difficult to assemble or adjust. It does wobble with or without a keyboard on it. This is worrisome if you’re using it with an expensive instrument, and doesn’t bode well for long term functionality.

El soporte de los cascos lo giré y le pegué con pegamento de dos componentes, una barra de soporte de micro y evito llevar el tripode. Encantado

I love the fact that this is so sturdy but can be folded away unlike others where you have to leave them out. Really easy to assemble in the first instance too.

I've bought a few Donner products that I ended up returning due to poor QC (a guitar and a bass), but this stand was great. Easily fits my digital piano and has no wobble when I play hard.

Mine just arrived and I could not be happier. The stand is very well designed and very stable. The quality is of a generally much more expensive brand. To top it off, it is very sleek looking and easy to disassemble and fold up. Right now there are only a few reviews and I am very pleased I took the jump, I can only imagine that Donner will dominate the stand market soon.

I don’t normally write Amazon Product reviews but felt compelled to do so on this one. In the past I’ve always bought Quik Lok stands for my keyboards and gear, but I took a Chance on this one from Donner because I liked the way the legs fold out to function more like a table with four contact points. It’s a great innovation as it makes it feel more stable than the bars resting on the ground of a typical z stand. The height and width adjustability is intuitive and handy and perfect- they even put numbers to help you remember what height you want it at- how come no other stand companies have thought of that simple, helpful detail. It arrived in a well designed package with plastic protection of all the brushed metal parts and directions were simple, super easy to follow. I give it five stars and it’s well worth its price especially compared to what the big companies charge (Yamaha, Roland, Korg) for a product with less build quality but a higher price because they have stamped their name on it. My only caveat to potential buyers is to those who might be gigging or traveling a lot… this is super sturdy and easy to put together but the trade off is that it’s quite heavy and it doesn’t pack down very well, so just think of it more as a great stand for your rehearsal space or studio and look into lighter options if you will have to schlep around your rig and set it up/strike it frequently. But I’m thoroughly impressed with the stand and there’s finally a budget friendly alternative to the Quik-lok models that also has some innovations that I hadn’t seen before.
