The material is thin and hard. This bag reminds you of vinyl floors that are meant to look like tile. The material from a distance is fine, but up close it’s not the best quality.

This was a gift. My daughter In Law loved it. She was so happy. She is so hard to buy gifts for. I don't think I have ever seen her so happy about a gift. It was as described. Just the right size she said

Came in quicker than it said it would, perfect size & sturdy. Handles don’t adjust, but is a perfect in between of long enough to put over my shoulder but not too long. Bottom has metal so bag doesn’t get scratched

I have several Dooney & Bourke purses. Four of them are the pebble grain leather and I have two signature cloth. This is the first coded leather I have purchased. It is a little stiff but that's because it is definitely built with high quality material. My only complaint about it is the inside pocket is long and I think it should be sewed down the middle to separate it and be able to put your cell phone in one side and your ink pens or whatever in the other. I have one other Dooney & Bourke purse that was made that way. Other than that it's very beautiful.
