It served its purpose, the plate covered a big hole. Couldn’t find this particular style at any of the box stores.

I only wish I had known that it is also available in White. Amazon only list "bronze" which is actually "brown".

First off, the doorbell is brown (and plastic), not bronze. It should be labeled that way. Having read the reviews already, I bought it knowing that, and the doorbell itself is just fine. I had no issues with the quality, solid plastic, painted bolt heads, actuates nicely. I was disappointed that it wasn't lit, but that was my fault for not noticing (and not a big deal). I like that it came with a reasonably nice gasket, in my area this is a great idea given the salt air, lizards, bugs, rain, etc etc etc.If you need a doorbell panel of this size, go for it, it fits the bill just fine.

The description was a bronze door bell button panel. In reality, the color is hardly bronze and the panel is not even made of a metal but some cheap deformable plastic.For the price charged, I would expect at least a metal panel even if it is not bronze material. The amount charged for a cheap plastic deformable panel is way too much for such low quality.Such low quality is causing me to lose confidence in making online purchases at Amazon. Amazon should address sellers who are selling such low quality items on Amazon.

Just what I needed, matched my house. Its hard to find full side doorbell panels and thats what the wall was cut for, so I didn't want to have to do a bunch of repair to put a smaller button panel on. Good shipping, works great, looks nice.
