Amazing product, very sturdy. We drilled the door wrong; the lock ended up angled and was not fitting well. This fixed the wrong angle and it is perfectly fitting now.

double sided tape, even on a clean door, did not hold the plates on long enough to attach the door knobs - needed a third hand instead.

The adhesive is total garbage, can't even support the weight of the plate itself. Use real mounting tape or epoxy or something.That aside, it seems good.

These are thick enough that they won’t easily bend. The adhesive sticker provided is very thin, not a foam backing, so the plate is snug against the door without any gap. The sizing was perfect to fit right to the edge of the door. It makes for a clean interface between the knob and door. No more having the knob move around a little and marking up the paint.

I got these for both sides of our French door because we have 3 “dumb” dogs who jump up on the knobs since they know the door will open if it’s not locked. The problem, besides them opening the door when not wanted, is they would scratch the paint when the door was locked. After removing the knobs twice to repaint the door, I finally had enough and got these metal plates to protect the surface.The finish looks really good. Bright white and glossy. The metal plates are pretty tough too, and thin enough I could install one on each side of the door. They come with double stick tape to hold them while you replace the hardware, but even with some modest tightening, they tend to bow and lift at the edges. Still doing a good job protecting the door.

stops my dog from scraping door to open ,he uses door to go outside he always tuns knob with his paw ,and this helps from scraping door , also looks sturdy for intruder protection , but makes a good scuff scratch plate for now

This little thing did a great job! My door was cracked, and I originally planned to replace the whole door, but it turned out to be too expensive! I found this item online, decided to give it a try, and it ended up fitting perfectly to patch the hole. The overall quality is great, and it’s white, which blends in nicely. Very worthwhile! The only downside is that the double-sided tape isn’t sticky enough—hoping they could switch to 3M tape!

Took my old ugly brass knobs, sprayed them black, added these plates vertically behind the knobs and ended up with a great cheap farmhouse/colonial look. The hole perfectly fit over my standard holes. The plate is super thin so I was able to use my same screws. The two way tape is super strong. I ordered the four pack and I’m back to order 5 more packs because I love the look so much I’m doing the whole house…

My dad unfortunately split the door (old vintage door) near the handle when trying to make the hole bigger and we used this to hide the split and worked perfectly. Actually we liked the look better added some character!
