So I see a lot of bad reviews for this thing. Use the correct install and pulling tools to prevent damaging the hub. Other than that it’s true and built well. So far so good for a Dorman product. I don’t like them and never will. I have it 5 stars because it is working.

Terrible workmanship product fail after 20miles maybe less, Outer part of pulley became Lose spinning on inner part of shaft,I guess spot weld failed or never was. caused Serpentine belt to come off while driving and cause a spaghetti Bowl mess in all the other pulleys damaging to idler pulleys cost me a whole lot more then what I thought I was saving. Production was out of China so what else should I have expected right ! Won’t make that mistake again not even going to waste more time in the return process just going to call it one DAMN costly lesson.

I have hardly any miles on this pulley and it broke at the flange. Destroyed my new belt too! I like how the photo in this advertisement they hide the "CHINA" label! Look close at the photo, its a shifted shadow from photoshop! My truck is not my primary driver. I purchased this 5 months ago, so between the COVID lock-down and my few trips to the ramp (~1 mile) and to Home Depot, etc, I probably put less than a few hundred miles on my truck! Dorman "engineered" in America but not "made" in America! You guys went a little thin on the metal!

I ended up not installing this part but it was identical to the pulley on my 2001 E450 van. I would order again as I see no defects in workmanship.

There isn't much you can really say about a pulley. This one appears to be well made and Amazon sells it at a great price. Worked well with my Motorcraft Vacuum Pump, just remember that this pulley needs to be pressed on, so make sure you have the right tools to do the job and everything will go smoothly.
