Was having a squealing noise on my '03 Crown Victoria, was not sure if it was the idler pulley or tensioner, so I ordered both (figures being 20 years old it was due).Squeal is now gone after replacing both, so again, not sure which one it was, but both were in need of replacement.Many knock the Doorman line, but I have had good results with them. I will post up if I have any issues with it any time soon.

Quality part as Dorman usually is. I've gotten into the habit of replacing pulleys and tensioners over the years and makes an old car sound new. Worth the money and as usual it's cheaper here. If you have a few days to wait for a part.

The item is of good quality, I just ordered the wrong pulley. 1999 Mustang GT tensioner pulley uses the smooth rollers not the grooved ones on both the tensioner and the idler. I was in a bind so I pressed out the bearing and used it in my old smooth pulley. It did fit perfectly that being said. If you need a grooved pulley this will serve you well. It's heavy, machining is super. It is made in China but hey, what's not lately.
