As other reviewers have noted this replacement shock mount is not OEM and will not fit with the factory top plate without modification. This can be remedied by grinding, bending, or flattening the tabs on the factory top plate. Suggest purchasing a full shock mount kit or OEM shock mount instead, not ideal that modifications of factory parts are required to install. Purchased in Jan 2025.

Fit and finish was oem quality as most dorman parts are. We're not sure if it was missing a piece because our original one had a top plate and this one did not. Reused old top plate so far no issues.

2016 JEEP Grand Cherokee. Factory Mopar mount fit perfectly. This DORMAN brand will not fit at least theplate part # 5181844AA.

Quality okay. They are larger than the OEM shock mounts. The top shock mount will not fit without grinding material off where the top mount tangs go.

For future Jeep grand Cherokee customers. I purchased these for a 2014 Jeep GC limited. My Jeep had nivomat shocks on the rear, I replaced them with bilstein shocks and read that I needed to also replace the upper shock mount. If this is your plan, these will not work for you. I ended up using my factory mounts and making my own custom nylon bushings. These were good quality though for proper fitment of non-nivomat shocks.
