Happy I brought a new tank for my 98 c1500. Much easier to just add the brand new sending unit I brought. Came painted which is a nice touch, but it didn’t come with the rubber seal and it has a dent on the side. But other then that you can’t beat the price for a factory replacement tank.

The price difference between new and used tank was just crazy $50 more for a new ring and seal.Tank fit old sending unit perfect for my 98 k2500. Ty even the guard fit over it after cutting it down to fit smaller tank. Only drawbacks are ya can see the gage drop faster. So glad to not smell gas fumes all the time. If there's a option of getting used again I'd definitely recommend it anyway ya can save the better.
