I own a Chevy Venture 2004 van and it was leaking oil for over 2 years but I never realized it could be the front main seal behind the harmonic balancer. The car was shaking while at idle and I assumed the harmonic balancer was worn out. Never replaced it since I first bought it at 30,000 miles (now has 250,000 miles) so it was a reasonable diagnosis. Replaced the seal since I had to change the balancer and noticed the engine mount was worn out. Replaced that too and now the car doesn't shake at idle (probably due to the worn engine mount) and no more oil leaks. This harmonic balancer was an exact fit and look just like the OEM balancer. Great price on Amazon highly recommend.

The balancer hole was not a press fit sled right on would have damage crankshaft returned

I kept getting premature serpentine belt wear. My belt kept shredding, replaced 3-4 times within an 8 month period. I noticed the harmonic balancer was wobbling, decided to replaced it since it probably haven't been changed since it was brand new (2003 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4l). It's really a pain taking it off & installing it, if you don't have the right tools, but eventually I got the job done. Car been driving smooth since & no more loud noise when driving or at idle.

Perfect fit to replace a worn hydraulic balancer on a 1999 Chevy Lumina.Highly suggest spraying some penetrating oil on the joint before pulling the balancer. The shaft key did not come out from my original balancer, so I did not use the provided replacement, but it appeared to be of adequate quality.I used the ABN Hydraulic Balancer Puller from Amazon and it worked perfectly and I had more than enough room to work with to remove the balancer with only having to remove the front right tire and a splash shield. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0172I7QWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My original harmonic balancer one came apart (~120k miles) and needing replacing. This was promptly shipped and was a exact fit for my 2000 Chevrolet Venture. It was packaged well with desiccant etc.It was a total PITA to replace - easy to get to, but very hard to get the old one off and the new one on without being abusive. You will need a puller. I did buy a puller along with the balancer and was able to get the job done.I did not replace the seal which is recommended. It has about 5000 miles on it so far and is holding up and no oil leaks (from the seal I did not replace)
