I chased a belt squeal for months. Replaced every pulley. Kept trying different things. Found out 97 f150 have issues w these wearing into the timing cover and simulate belt squeak. Took 30 mins to install with truck on lift. Sound gone. Long story short this part is as advertised and fits great. I really don’t think it will last long but idk that yet.

My F150 pulley came apart and needed replacement. I bought one that Amazon said would fit but clearly did not due to ford deciding to have 2 different serpentine belt widths for the same vehicle. In any case I returned the first and bought this one which fit perfectly. Check your belt for the V groove count to get the correct pulley is the lesson I learned. I’m back up and running now.

Works perfect on 98 f150 with 4.6l.Factory pulley started rubbing timing cover which sounded like a noisy belt

It smoothed out what I thought was a driveline vibration. According to YouTube posts the Ford 4.6 seems to be prone to need this. Upon removing mine however, I wonder if I'd washed out all the dirt that had caked up in the old one, it'd been ok.

Bought this after receiving the wrong one the first time but from a different supplier. I gave it 4 stars because I just put it on my truck, 97 f150 4.6 liter engine so I really don't know the longevity of it, however, what a difference it made. I've never replaced a harmonic balancer before, most generally they should last the life of a vehicle, but when you do have a bad one, it will create quite the havoc and it doesn't take much out of balance and alignment to do it either. It looked well made, pretty much identical to the original one, I'm glad I purchased this balancer, well worth the cost and effort to replace. Took me quite awhile to figure out my old one needed replaced, I'll be taking this as a good experience.
