So far fixed the 4wheel drive shifting issues ( trying to shift into 4wd by itself). Was a lot harder to fit on the Aspen than so videos showed as the Aspen has skid plates and transmission mount needs to be removed to access the motor. But once accessed the motor removal and install was easy.

I liked the build quality and warranty. Fit was great, and it had a case to motor o-ring seal instead of having to use sealant.

Just really glad to have it in. It’s been working now for over a month, and I think it’s a good one. I know sometimes you can get bad parts, but apparently this one is a good one. I probably will buy from this company again.

I bought this for my 2008 Dodge Durango which had numerous transmission transfer case related issues such as service AWD light coming on, randomly shifting into 4 Low, disconnecting transmission completely while on highway etc. 4 days after changing all appears to be working fine. I had to cut off some over the badly applied sealant to get the electrical connector to click in to place. Happy with item but sealant should be applied more professionally.

Ordered this product for my 2008 Dodge Dakota, which kept ghost shifting into 4WD High or flickering the 4WD Low light. It came quickly, was reasonably priced and was fairly easy to install (I was able to access all three mounting bolts with either a wrench or small socket, so I did not have to take the front drive shaft off). NOTE: as mentioned by previous reviewers…the instructions that come with this indicate the motor is pre-aligned to install on the transfer case spline with it set in 4WD High. This is not the case….it is aligned to install with the transfer case in 2WD. I had to reinstall the old motor, shift the old transfer case back to 2WD, then remove the old motor and install this new one. Unable to turn the spline with a crescent wrench to align it as the new instructions suggested as there is nowhere to put a crescent wrench on it without damaging the spline.

Good product only issue was that it says that it is pre set in 4x4 high but splines were still off. To fix all I did was plug it in without attaching to transfer case cycled it from 2wd back to 4x4 high and it lined up after that.
