Used two of these adapters for an original master cylinder overhaul for a ‘50 Pontiac. The original distribution (brass) block on the master had a crack and was leaking. They are near impossible to find. I was able to find a brass Y-block that’s for early 40s/50s Willys Jeeps that allowed for the original banjo bolt to slide through. Only snag is, the Willys block took 1/4” brake line fittings, the Pontiac has 3/16”. Thankfully found these, and as the picture shows, they fit perfect. The Pontiacs’ fittings threaded right in with zero hang ups. And no more leaks. The Pontiac can now build brake pressure and make it on the road safely.

I did a conversion from single to dual reservoir master cylinder. The Ni copper line had all the necessary pieces to fit up in the front. I replaced the rear brake rubber hose and it came in with a 3/16" inlet. Since the old line was 1/4" it was too big for the rubber hose, this adapter made it all work. Better than paying 20 bucks for a replacement from a local parts store.
