I had a stutter in my motor, the hotter the weather the more it would bog at slow speeds / accelerating from a stop. I also had a P0449 code / check engine light was on.That code references a failure of this part. It was a bit of an annoyance getting the old one off, as the old fittings were hard and brittle.This one fit right into place of the old one. It came with the little wiring adapter, you will most definitely need that little wiring harness adapter or it won't plug in.After replacing the part and clearing the code from my vehicle I went for a drive. The stumble and hesitation is gone, fixing the vacuum leak caused by this part cured my problem. The code remains gone.

Bought this in hopes that it would fix my 2006 Hummer H3 fueling issue. But it didn't. I'm going to replace the larger canister now.*The nozzle keeps shutting off when fueling, kind of like its full. But it isn't.

Excelente solucionó el código de falla P0449 de mi camioneta colorado 2006 motor 2.8. La pieza se ve de calidad y se adquirió a un muy buen precio y hasta ahora no e tenido problemas, sólo como comentario y para agregar si tienen código referente al solenoide de purga, revisen también la válvula de purga del tanque que normalmente está por e multiple de admisión ya que trabajan en conjunto. Saludos!

If you're a do it yourself type. This was easy to take of and replace. Less than 30mins. Probably would've been 10mins if I had just simply. Took old of and new on. But I wanted to see how everything worked and what it looked like. It took me 30mins. You don't have to reset your computer. It will recognize and turn off check engine light. But I practice what I've always been told. Take the battery off. While working on vehicle then plug back on when finished. Check engine light have came back on. I had it checked. And codes were clear. Runs fine again.

Fast easy fix shop wanted 1200 for this repair and parts. Took me 45 min from take apart to install and delete check engine light off. Direct fit and looks better build quality then factory.

Replaced the bad one in my 2004 Colorado easily in under an hour (probably less than 30 minutes without interruptions). There is a 26 minute video on YouTube that was helpful (Chevy Colorado/ GMC Canyon P0449 repair). The part fit perfectly and came with the bracket and hose already attached which made the replacement much faster and easier. It'll be nice to give that engine light a rest.

Looks and fits exactly like the original in my 06 H3. In fact, it has the exact same brand fitting at the end of the hose as the original I removed (which appears to me is the issue). Installation is a cinch. Half the price of OE, still overpriced for 50 cents worth of Chinese plastic.
