I got this for my 2001 Monte Carlo where my hazard lights were stuck on. Part shipped in two days and install was straight forward. I read all the reviews about the cold weather affecting it so I had to try this for myself. I live in Canada and this morning it’s -25C(-13F), I started my car and immediately tested it out and my turn signals and hazards all worked fine, and the clicker was loud. Perhaps They read reviews and improved?

Works fine though the “Click” you can barely hear from the turn signal and is much softer than the original.UPDATE: Purchased this in Spring 2022. Worked fine until it got colder recently at night (In the 30's but above freezing) and as others have mentioned here, it stops working when its cold. Turning on the heater for 10-20 minutes brings it back to life. As others have said, you can manually move the stalk up and down to get the turn signal working when the auto function is cold/not working. Going to try the ACDelco version of it to see if it works better.Update 2: Got the AC-Delco oem version of it (think I got the last new one on the planet) and works just like my original. Clicks better and no cold stoppage. Hope it last for 20 years like the original :)

My turn signal lights stopped working, my hazard lights were fine, so I took my son advice, I purchased this replacement hazards, turn signal switch off of Amazon, I was rather excited after reading the reviews, some good a few negative, I brought it anyway with my fingers crossed, It came quickly, my son installed it in my 2001 monte Carlo ss an it doesn’t work, I totally wasted my time, my son time an my money, Not sure If I received a bad one or what, I read reviews where others said it doesn’t work In the cold, I live down south, it was 76 degrees out when my son installed it an we faced the same issue I already had, I’m not satisfied, requesting a refund

Part worked perfectly. I installed it in my son's 2000 Monte Carlo SS, those cars are known for having an issue with the turn signals not flashing correctly. This part fixes that, because the flasher relay is built inside the Hazard switch. This sells at a great price compared to the auto parts store. Very pleased customer.

This fit perfectly in my 2001 Monte Carlo. It works like it's supposed to, for about half the price of going to the auto parts store and getting one.
