This is the identical part that my 2004 BMW 325 CI needed. Thank you AmazonPS before ordering remove your part and check if the bottom of this piece is loose I wish I would’ve checked mine fist…because that is the biggest malfunction original stock unit has…but I haven’t had any problems with the one I purchase thru amazon. Bought this to replace a cheap knock-off that had been installed by the original owner.Late last year, the door lock & hazard flasher switches had stopped working. Tore the center console apart, saw that the bottom of the cheap replacement switch had broken.Ordered this switch, installed it, and have put over 10,000 miles on the car since then.Works fine.Highly-Recommended

It is plug and play, takes all but 30 seconds to remove and install. It is better than a Genuine part because Dorman upgraded the outward facing plastic to be thicker, thus making it more durable and increasing its longevity. No complaints whatsoever!

2002 BMW 330i: Worked perfectly, plug and play. Your biggest challenge will be getting out the dead switch. There are quite a few videos online on how to fix the defective part. I suggest purchasing a new part and not worrying about glueing or taping stuff together. Seem like a waste of 24hrs for glue to dry.
