This is not a cheap price rod. It should have good rubber that holds the rod position in place. The rubber that comes with the rod is just there to prevent scratching but doesn’t hold the rods into desired length position. Also, the metal is not shiny like in pictures. Other than that it’s a nice set.

The telescoping bars have no mechanism to tighten them into place, so you have to push them into each other far enough that it doesn't bow. We decided to return, but we laid it out on the floor, and the rods by themselves get to about 132", so I'm assuming with the ends on, it would be 138" (the ends are about 3").
