I get my little guy groomed every six weeks or so, but between grooms I will typically bathe him once or twice, especially because he gets into all kinds of dirty business when we take our long walks. He also tends toward dry skin and can get itchy, especially in the morning when he wakes up (the vet has ruled out allergies).I have long used a gentle oatmeal dog shampoo, and am thrilled to now add Douxo brand oatmeal conditioner to his bathing routine. I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a conditioner for dogs! But it makes total sense, especially for breeds like my pup that are low shedding and risk mats if their coat is not cared for properly.The conditioner felt rich and silky out of the bottle, not unlike the conditioner I use for my own hair. It has a pleasant scent, floral but more spalike than perfumy. He tolerated it very well when I massaged it into his coat then rinsed it out. After drying him, his fur brushed out nicely.Time will tell whether this conditioner helps with his itchiness; I will update this review if I notice any positive difference. Otherwise, based on our experience, this conditioner gets two paws up.

I had never tried a dog hair conditioner before this, but it does actually make my dog's hair softer and sleeker. IT detangles it a little. And it looks better too! The bottle is huge, so it will last for ages. I think it's overall a pretty good value for something you might not have known you needed, but does help improve the appearance and quality of life for your dog. I'd order it again!

I ordered the DOUXO® Skin & Coat SPA - Ultra-Safe Oatmeal Dog Conditioner, 16 fl oz, Safely Detangles, Revives The Coat and Moisturizes The Skin, Leaves The Coat Soft, Silky and Radiant, Skin-Friendly Formula, and I'm happy with it. I ordered this for my 10 lb mini dachshund even though she's not the type of dog that really gets stinky or even has thick fur. I don't bathe her that often since it's not needed. I don't think I have ever used a conditioner on her or any of my dogs until this.. It's a pretty good sized bottle, and it smells really good. I didn't have their shampoo to go with this, so I just gave her a warm rinsing and use this alone. It's pretty cold in my climate right now and I realized after her bath she was shivering and couldn't get warm which was a rookie move on my part, so I blow-dried her on low like she was at the groomers. She absolutely loved it, and I blow-dried her until she was completely dry. I couldn't believe how soft she felt! That night I couldn't stop petting her, because I couldn't believe how soft and sleek her fur was. She smelled amazing, and it wasn't too overpowering with the fragrance like some products can be. The next day I could still feel her softness. I think this would be really great on dogs with thicker fur, and I'm not sure why I never really used a conditioner before which I'll have to change moving forward. I don't have any complaints, thank you.

I don't normally use a conditioner on my dog but he's been itching a lot lately so I thought I should try adding some moisture to his skin and coat to see if that would give him some relief. I like this conditioner because it has an oatmeal base and it's sulfate, paraben, phthalate and silicone free, making it a fairly natural choice for my dogs health. The specifications in the listing say its unscented but it does contain summertime coco & vanilla so it has a light, tropical scent to it that I find very pleasant. I apply it to my dogs coat after bathing and leave it in for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. It leaves his fur so soft and shiny and he smells so good. It seems to be giving him some relief so I'm happy with this conditioner and will continue adding it to his grooming routine.

This is a good size bottle of conditioner and I am sure it will last us a while. It is easy to apply and is gentle on my dogs fur/skin. Her fur feels super soft and I don't see her itching or scratching herself after I bathe her. No irritation or redness.

This conditioner by Duoxo smells good and has left a lasting softness to our dogs after their bath. I think it's worked better than other conditioners we've used in the past. I also really appreciate that it's made in France and that the company cares about using natural ingredients. The bottle lists what each ingredient is and what it does, which you don't see very often. It costs maybe a little more than competitors, but I think it's worth it based on how well it works and that the company cares about the product they make. Recommended.

I have a short haired dog, but you can still feel when he's been freshly washed and conditioned. He gets soooo soft. I've been pleased with the Douxo S3 Pyo line so was eager to try this new Spa line. It leaves my dog silky soft and makes him smell great.

With three dogs it has been very difficult to find a good conditioner. Not just for the fur, but also for the skin. This has been a really great product for my French bulldog with the skin allergies. I enjoyed this because you only need to leave it on a couple of minutes. Immediately, I noticed a difference in their fur that lasted for several weeks along with the fresh clean scent. Definitely will continue to use this product with all three of my dogs. The price is very reasonable. A good size bottle, very fast shipping safe packaging. I had no complaints.
