I have an adult son with Down Syndrome. For years, he was triggered by the words "Down Syndrome" because he felt labeled. We have worked hard over the last few years to teach him that it is just one aspect of who he is - and that it is part of what makes him so awesome. Every person I can think of who knows him considers themselves a better person for having him in their lives. I ordered this thinking that I might wear it on our next trip together to advocate for issues that affect people with Down Syndrome. It is a relatively thin fabric, but the message is great.

My younger sister is Down Syndrome. I buy t-shirts like this for her when I see them. When I saw this one I got it. It fits her perfectly. The material is quite thin however. Still very cute and looks great on her.
