We needed to add the runoff from our back door overhead to the existing downspout next to the door. This piece made the job so easy and eliminated the only other solution of having two separate downspouts. We used the piece 1/3 down from the existing gutter and now the downspout takes care of two separate gutter feeds.

Worked just fine for my purpose. Wanted to connect AC condensation drain to the downspout and worked perfectly. I think, at least the 2x3 that I ordered would work fine for normal purposes like combining two downspouts into one.

This is not 3x4. It is smaller than traditional 3x4 aluminum downspouts, so I needed to crimp the heck out of it and it doesn't look good. Do not buy unless you want to struggle and do extra work that won't look or function properly (long term.)

Delivery was rather quick. Unfortunately they sent the wrong connector, a left when I ordered a right. I reordered the right connector, now waiting a very long time for delivery. But the quality of this connector is really good and looks really nice in my spouting project. I would recommend.
